Besedes Publishes Research on Multilateral Environmental Agreements

The International Tax and Public Finance journal has accepted for publication a new paper by Tibor Besedes, an associate professor in the School of Economics, which examines the economic determinants of multilateral environmental agreements. The paper was co-authored with Erik P. Johnson, a former faculty member in SOE, and Xinping Tian, a Ph.D. alumnus of SOE.

Ivan Allen College Archive Project Receives Nearly $100,000 from NEH

The Ivan Allen Archive Project at the Georgia Institute of Technology has received a two-year, $99,991 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to fund the integration of large-scale text processing and data visualization capabilities into the open-source Omeka platform.

Georgia Tech Economics Doctoral Student Co-Authors Paper on Solar Geoengineering in ‘Nature Communications’

Solar geoengineering—the intentional reflection of sunlight away from the Earth’s surface—may reduce income inequality among countries, according to a new paper co-authored by a Georgia Institute of Technology School of Economics Ph.D. student who conducted his research while a visiting student at the University of California San Diego.

Five from Ivan Allen Receive Presidents Undergraduate Research Awards (PURA)
