  • Aaron Santesso’s Literature Course in which Students Make Things Receives Innovative Course Design Award

    Aaron Santesso, professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC) at Georgia Institute of Technology, is the recipient of the 2017 Innovative Course Design Award, which is given by the American Society for Eighteenth-Century Studies (ASECS) to encourage excellence in undergraduate teaching of the eighteenth century.

  • Georgia Tech Staff to Participate in Comprehensive Administrative Review

    Mary Frank Fox, ADVANCE professor in the School of Public Policy, was recently elected to the rank of fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). She was also elected to the AAAS Committee on Nominations who determine the slate for elections of the organization's president-elect, board of directors, and the  AAAS Council executive committee.

  • Le Dantec Examines What Prevents People from Cycling on the Road

    November 17, 2017

    Le Dantec, an associate professor in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, and Watkins, an associate professor in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, have started a new research project that looks at what happens while the cyclist is on the road. They are looking to collect environmental data to understand in more detail the attributes of stressful experiences that prevent people from cycling.
