The Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts Dean's Office announces that five associate professors have been promoted to professors; one associate professor has received tenure; and six assistant professors have been promoted to associate and received tenure.

Associate professors elevated to full professor:

• Christopher Ippolito, School of Modern Languages
• Michael L. Best, Sam Nunn School of International Affairs
• Michael Hoffmann, School of Public Policy
• Tibor Besedes, School of Economics 

Associate professor granted tenure:

Assistant professors promoted to associate and granted tenure:
