HSOC Features Two Speakers Series in 2016 - 2017 Academic Year

The School of History and Sociology is featuring two speakers series. The Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 HSOC Speakers Series features historians and sociologists speaking on a variety of topics. The last event of the 2016 calendar year will be Dr. Nathan Stolzfus from Florida State University speaking on "Hitler's Compromises: Authority and Coercion in Nazi Germany." The talk is October 31st from 4:00 - 5:30 PM in the Old Civil Engineering Building, room 104 (the "Mel").
The "America in the World" Lecture Series, generously funded by the B. and B. Stern Foundation, will host five speakers in the 2016 - 2017 academic year. Focusing on topics such as globalization, surveillance, logistics, and politics, each speaker addresses the unique role that the U.S. plays in the global system.
