Professor Alasdair Young Chairs Inaugural Meeting of the U.S. Jean Monnet Cooperation Network in Washington, D.C.

On January 28 - 29, Alasdair Young, as chair of the European Union Studies Association, led the inaugural meeting of the U.S. Jean Monnet Cooperation Network in Washington, DC.
He also represented Georgia Tech’s Jean Monnet Center of Excellence. The network brings together Jean Monnet activities at 12 universities in 10 states.
In addition to networking opportunities and presentations from program officials from Brussels, the participants also received briefings from the heads of Press and Public Affairs and Trade and Agriculture from the EU’s Delegation, as well as from EU Ambassador David O’Sullivan.
