Posted May 11, 2015
A new $50,000 commitment continues to support the Joel V. O’Neal Endowment Fund in the School of Economics. Established in 2006, the endowment by Lou D. O’Neal and Vernon J. O'Neal (ECON 1979) honors their late husband and father. Part of the multi-year unrestricted endowment supports merit-based scholarships for rising juniors and seniors majoring in Economics, Economics and International Affairs, or Global Economics and Modern Languages. Vernon O'Neal serves on advisory boards for both the School and the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts.
